A PoE (PoE+, or even PoE++) switch isn't really cost effective for just one wireless access point. Depends again on the power availability where you want that AP to be installed.
Needless to say, just having the network cables from a PoE switch to the access points is "sexy" - less cables, much cleaner installation. But also a slightly higher risk sor single point of failure. And keep in mind that baseline essential APs might not offer a PoE option, too.
If the plan is to arrange more network cabling with dedicated links from the switch to multiple wireless APs over time, this does change of course.
