GS108v4 and IPv6

Will the GS108v4 pass IPv6 traffic?

  • Hello asterger,

    Welcome to the community!

The GS108v4 is only an unmanaged pass-through switch. It mostly functions on Layer 2 (Data Link Layer) by forwarding ethernet frames, it does not really care if the traffic is IPv4 or IPv6. So technically, the answer to your question is yes.

    Thanks,
