Hello, I have a GS305 Unmanaged Gigabit Switch with my home computer and work computer pluged in. Even though my connection says 1Gbps, when doing an Internet Speed Test on my home pc, I'm getting 9...
I've seen sketchy cables work at gigabit speeds with some devices and not on others.
For testing, try moving the switch to right next to the router and connect with a high quality cat 5e or greater cables and test the speeds/link.
