GS308P, Unable to "Request Hardware Support"

When accessing my.netgear.com , select the product from the My Registered Product List by [Product Info] you are on a URL like https://my.netgear.com/product.aspx?sn=4AB1234X12345 where 4AB1234X12345 is the seral number. When following the [Request Hardware Support] one would expect to be guided to https://my.netgear.com/hardwaresupport.aspx?sn=4AB1234X12345 - not a very challenging task for a browser - unless some backend has some temporary issue.
For completeness - "two browsers" is not the world's most helpful information on assistance - let Netgear know which browser, base OS, version, potentially proxy or VPN in the data path.

I was able to get the "Request Hardware Support" form by clicking on the serial number (not an obvious link) next to the picture of my product. The actual button "Support Options" opens the popup, but does NOT populate the URL with the serial number as you pointed out.
Neither Firefox & Chrome worked with the button. The link generated is https://my.netgear.com/products.aspx WITHOUT the serial number.

Kindly access the GS308P support page here then click on the Guided Assistance button. You can login to your MyNETGEAR Account or enter the serial number of your GS308P switch then follow the online instructions to process an online replacement.
