GS308v3 Drops connection when changing connected computers

Last year I purchased the GS308v3 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch. For the most part, I works fine. We have 3 desktop computers and 1 Xbox One always connected with their own cables. We also have one cable which connects to a work station where different laptops are often rotated through (ie One person will connect their laptop to the Ethernet cable for a few hours then someone else comes with their own laptop and connects to the same same cable). When this happens (one laptop disconnects from the cable and a new one connects), EVERYONE loses Ethernet connection. I assume it has to do with the IP Address changing and the switch getting confused but I don't know. I tried to talk with support and they even sent me a replacement switch which has the same issue. I guess now I have to pay for support which I find hilarious so now I am here. Any help as to why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it would be awesome.

EDIT: I suppose some topology would be helpful.
Modem -> Eero
Eero -> Switch (port 1)
Switch -> Desktops (ports 6-8)
           -> Xbox (port 5)
           -> Laptops (port 4)

    Very unlikely also the replacement GS308 should be faulty. These switches are simply unmanaged devices, pretty much reliable. Anything else (like your concerns on DHCP and IP addresses) happen on the router.

    Start with some basic troubleshooting on "EVERYONE loses Ethernet connection" - the GS308 does certainly have some port LEDs indicating the Ethernet link status and the activity.

    Is the switch touched or moved when connecting of of these other computers? This is to exclude some potential wonky Ethernet cable or connectors on either side - if all devices are affected, not only look at the uplink, also check if the power supply and the power LED are OK.

    Not much (read: almost nothing) Netgear support could analyze - you should be able to "see" what is going on in case the switch or it's connections are affected.
