Thanks for the reply!
- tried two different routers, same issue
- I am using a CAT7 cable from the router to the switch (this one I placed inside the wall, so I kinda have to use it, but it works fine on the PC directly, the problem started to occour when using the switch in between, but maybe the switch doesnt like CAT 7?) I will get myself another cable thats long enough to test it out (length is around 12m)
- from switch to PC Ive tried different cables
- tried it with my laptop, no disconnects so far
-switch is mounted at a pretty cold concrete wall and barely felt warm

Hi Arthaxl,
We will wait for your next update whether using a CAT6 cable helps or using another port. We can isolate the problem more if you can connect the switch on another router (network) if possible to determine if it has something to do with your network, cable/s used or the hardware itself.
Kind regards,

Hello!
So I've testet with a long enough CAT5e. It seems to work, I didnt have any disconnects of ethernet.
So:
Router -> CAT5e -> Switch -> CAT5e -> PC -> works
Router -> CAT7 -> PC -> works
Router -> CAT7 -> Switch -> CAT5e -> PC -> does not work
My next step would getting myself a short CAT7 cable to test the Switch -> PC with CAT7, maybe there is a issue between CAT7 and CAT5e on the switch?Regards
