Interference From WiFi Router
Hi, I have a GS208v2 ethernet switch located on top of a WiFi router, is this likely to cause interference problems to the data that comes through the switch ?

The GS208v2 switch should be behind the router. Thus, the network setup should be: modem--router--GS208v2.
The GS208v2 is an unmanaged switch and its main purpose is to extend the LAN so that you can connect more devices via wired connection such as network printer, PCs, etc. It will not cause any wireless interference.

No interference thing (think about that a Gigabit Ethernet does operate on a max frequency of 125 MHz, and either shielded or at least on twisted pair cabling) ... but depending on the WiFi router antenna design, the much bigger impact is shielding the wireless signals. Take it as a bad idea. For good WIFi, ideally an access point is located at least 1..2 meters above the ground, or on the ceiling and in open space.
