- did you try different cables? Maybe you have a sketchy cable
the gs108 is a pretty basic unmanaged switch. they usually work or not. It doesn't have any settings to change.
I'd try it like you suggested with the computers connected and the switch but nothing else.
Then add devices in one at time to test stability.
