MS105 halving download speeds

Thanks for the reply. Essentially the answer to your first question is yes. In order to isolate the MS unit, I did just test it directly connected to the ISP router, and then jump from it to my computer. I'm using brand new 6' CAT6 patch cables by Cable Matters ordered from Amazon. They are rated for 10GBe. Speeds with this setup are 500-900MB on the download but 1700-1900MB on the upload.
Note that if I connect directly to the ISP router with the same cables, I'm getting 1900MB up and down.
Most everyone in the office has Surface laptops now, so while I can technically use a different computer, I would still be using the same USB C adapter. I'll see if I can think of a different solution for that though.
Is it possible this MS105 is defective?

Possible. Would need to try another one or something else with same specs to check that.
