An ONT is a Optical Network Terminal box, converting from fiber to copper. While it's an Ethernet connection, there is some router connection required - being for authentication to the network, being for connecting a LAN, being for connecting wireless devices. Just the ONT and a switch isn't enough I'm afraid.
A CPE is a Customer Premise Equipment device is typically much more.

Yes I know what the letters stand for and I am aware that the ONT converts fiber.....I understand what CPE stands for but what I dont understand is what Briant was asking me for......I listed everything that is connected in the system from the fiber cable to the ONT to the modem/router to the switch and finally to the TV.......Why are you saying that an ONT and a switch is not enough?......The modem/router is in the service box under the ONT......Can someone please tell me how to test the switch so I can determine that it is not the cause of the problem?.......Thank you

Unfortunately, Frontier does block any access to their knowledge behind some application layer gateway - impossible organization for people which try to assist. https://frontier.com/resources/fiber-optic-installation does end on a 403 Forbidden .... simply ridiculous when attempting to connect from Switzerland - Kids at work there?
https://www.frontierinternetservice.com/fiber-internet does show for each contract size a free router included, like a TP-Link Archer AXE300 6E, Amazon eero Wi-Fi Pro 6, Amazon eero Wi-Fi Pro 6E.

Don't tell me customers have no access to this information either? Nothing I can change for you: Without a router, you can't deploy a LAN with Internet access. Strongly doubt the issue you are facing with the switch connected direct to the ONT not granting access for yout TVs is in any way a problem with the Netgear switch, certain not alone..

We just had fiber optics installed and I believe they use a combination modem/router.....
Based on your posts, you have a Frontier ONT - and I still believe this isn't a NAT router.

The only indication the undefined Netgear 5 port switch have typically available re port link LEDs. Start from https://www.netgear.com/support/ and enter the product name or description, based on your switch.
A typical recent model is the GS105v5. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs105v5#docs and the 5-Port and 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch models GS105v5 and GS108v4 Installation Guide does show the Check the LEDs
Have spent some time looking around various communities to find indications or photos or similar of that magic unknown box under the. ONT, for example here on https://www.dslreports.com/forum/frontierdirect - can't find any indication of a router-like devices (or some tech details like LAN Default gateway IP addresses or login information for ... ).
Proof me wrong, please login to your router, and check the list of attached devices, get LAN IP addresses assigned. Alternate, check your smart TVs connected for the LAN IP addresses and let us know.

Because of an ONT port does - ideally - bring a transparent IP over Ethernet, no VLAN, no PPPo[X] encapsulation, ... so a transparent connection for one device, for example a router WAN/Internet port. However, there is nothing like an ideal world, and the router requires some additional configuration. Partially difficult to do from just some TVs with Ethernet connections. Helping out people from all seven continents plus some some popular space stations. So yes, I still can be wrong with my assessment of your infrastructure.

Start with a photo of it... Or simply challenge Frontier Support for the details of the magic no-name router, able to support multiple LAN devices, with the ability of a login, ...
