netgear gs208 switch only Router port working
I previously had the netgear gs208 switch set up modem-router-switch-tvs. I recently switch the connection to modem-switch-router/tvs.
Now the router works just fine but the TVs are not detecting the wired connection anymore.
Is the current setup not supported, or what should I do to fix this?

modem--netgear router--switch--Nest Mesh router? All of the AP's are wireless and have no ethernet connection.sure. Or just buy another google mesh device to keep your network all running the same mesh setup. that's the route I'd go. Not trying to push you away from netgear but you'll probably have better results.

you need to go modem-----router-----switch.
not the other way around. Most modems only supply 1 public IP address and the router supplies local ip addresses. So the modem is supplying that to the router.

So there is no way to go modem to switch to router? The router needed to be moved to the main floor so the mesh worked better.

No. but you could get a cheap gigabit router or even just a router without wireless and place there. And then put the other routers after that in AP (access point) mode. I've done that before.
What mesh setup are you using? most support a hardwired backhaul. and then you could just add a satellite instead of replacing the main router.
