NetGear ProSafe FS116P 16-port Switch - using the PoE port from a non PoE device
Hi This 16 port switch It has 8 PoE ports. What is i use one of the ports for a non PoE device would it affect the device/port Thanks

Welcome to the community!
The none-PoE device(s) will not be affected, the PoE ports are auto-sensing and it detects if a device supports 802.3at or 802.3af (PoE Standards). If the switch detects that a device does not support the standards mentioned, it will not send power and will just work as a regular ethernet port.
