No internet after switch
We've had this switch for several months now and so far everything worked just fine. However, we added a repeater after it (modem/router -> switch -> repeater, PCs, TVs, etc.). Yesterday evening it worked that way, but since the repeater went through the switch, it wasn't assigned an IP adress (I think) so we changed it to: modem into repeater into switch. Now that doesn't work at all. And now if we go back to just the moden/router then switch then just PCs completely without the repeater, nothing works anymore.
Any help would be highly appreciated 🙂

Hi Kojo0815,
Welcome to our community! 🙂
The switch is just an additional port from the router. So, the proper setup would be from the Modem > Router > Switch / Repeater. You can just manually assign an IP to your repeater in order for it to receive and send data from your router. Your switch is also just a plug-and-play unit, no configuration is needed.
Regards,
John
