XS505M Switch All Lights On, Unit unresponsive
I've been using the XS505M for about 4 years and haven't had an issue since but today the router just stopped working. All of the lights on the unit are turned on (all port lights are green). I've re...

I am having the exact same problem — all the lights are on green, even those with nothing plugged in, but the switch isn't doing anything. You mentioned resetting it; how did you do that? There's no power switch and no buttons or even recessed buttons I can find. Can you share how to reset it? Thanks!

oh that's interesting… just after I posted this, I noticed that all port lights turned off. I had restarted the device several times (removing power) and had several minutes ago removed ALL ports, but the lights were all still on. At some point, the lights turned off while everything was disconnected. Maybe that's the reset procedure? Anyway, now it works again!

Oh man, you're a lucky guy! Nothing I did worked to get my switch to reset or function again.
I ended up buying a QNAP QSW-M1208-8C to replace the NETGEAR switch and I'm 100% happy I did. While I've liked using Netgear in the past, their products are simply unreliable now. Glad you got yours to work again though - it's not fun having to drop $800 on a new switch.

Oh that sucks! Sorry to hear that DrewGiggity
In your original post, you said "I've reset it multiple times" — that was the original purpose of my post, to find out how you reset it?
If you still have it laying around, it'd be interesting to hear if you plug it in with nothing in it and leave it for a bit, if the lights spontaneously go off.
