XS708E running super hot and hangs after about 2 to 3 weeks of usage

Hi guys,

 

I installed the XS708E at home for my home enterntain system. I reaised that the switch becomes extremely hot after a while. The switch is installed in an open area where it is well ventilated. I realised that the perfomance of the switch slows down over time and eventually hangs. I will then need to turn the switch off for 15min to allow it to cool down and then turn it on again. I realised I need to do this once every 2 to 3 weeks.

 

Is this something common?

    Looking up that unit, it appears to be a unit that was returned to the reseller soon after it was purchased. You should follow up with the reseller on this.
