DGFV338 and BT Infinity
Is it possible to use my existing firewall router with the BT Infinity Service? BT are telling me via their website that I must you a HomeHub 3, but surely if I use the external modem socket on teh...
Can't speak for BT.
BT has been requiring VLAN over WAN on some of their connections. None of the Netgear routers with integrated DSL modems currently support it.
It is planned for the UTM9s in a future firmware upgrade. The DGFV338 will not get it.
If your new connection requires it (VLAN over WAN) you are out of luck with the DGFV338.
There have been recent discussions on the ProSecure forum about this.
