FVG318 and Youtube
Hi,
I've recently purchased a FVG318 (my guess would be it's a v1 as there is no hint that there was a previous version on the box) in order to have a strong long range wifi signal. Everything was working but apparently the firmware we had was unstable (it was disconnecting evry now and then and from time to time we had no internet) and we upgraded it. Since then no problem except one. We now can't connect to Youtube. I am almost certain it comes from the FVG318 as it works when i plug in directly to the modem but it doesn't with any device connected in wifi (so it's not OS side, as I connected 2 Androids, 1 XP, 2 Vista and 2 Windows 7). Any help?
Thank you,
PS: I can't call the tech support as my device was bought second-hand. I'm quite angry about it as we in our family have bought Netgear products for more than a decade now.

- aditMentorFactory default the unit and manually reprogram. Disable DNS Proxy.
- TynendirAspirantUnfortunatly no luck doing that. Do you think downgrading to an older version of the firmware might help?

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoProbably good idea to test it out and if still has an issues contact support about it
- aditMentorWhich firmware did you install?
- TynendirAspirantI installed the latest one, I think it is 1.1.49 (at least it finishes with 49).
- aditMentorUpgrade to 2.1.2-67.
- TynendirAspirantWhere can I find those drivers? When I go to the Download center, the latest is 1.0.49. I tried to downgrade without success so I put it back to 1.0.49.
- aditMentorFVG318v2 files.
- TynendirAspirantI am pretty sure that my prosafe is a v1 as I had this firmware before and we had trouble with internet (deconnection every 3 days or so which required a rollback using an earlier backup save).
