FVS316G suddenly stops passing unix packets
Firewall suddenly won't pass outbound unix packets. Windows packets pass. Log states In LAN Out SELF instead of out WAN. Nothing was changed on firewall in last 2 years. Any help is appreciated.

I have a Centos 6 server. Previously, never had issue doing updates. Currenlty failing. Tried to ping google.com with no reply. Firewall log shows the request in on LAN but out to SELF. If I ping same from windows pc, puts out to WAN

I know nothing about this product, but if I wanted to figure out what
was happening, then I'd want some actual information, like, for example:
Copy+paste of the firewall rules
Copy+paste of the relevant log entries
IP network parameters (addresses, gateways, ...) of the devices
> [...] If I ping same from windows pc, puts out to WAN
"ping" from a Windows system works very much like "ping" from a
GNU/Linux system. Pending some actual evidence, I'd assume that the
difference in behavior is not from the OS, but from some other
characteristic of the systems or data.

I set the firewall back to factory default and reconfigured. Now it works. My guess is one of the rules may have gotten corrupted. Outgoing was set as Any Any.
Issue resolved. Thanks for your help.
