FVS336v3 Firmware 4.3.4-1: WAN Load Balancing Routing from LAN to Internet

Hello,

we use WAN LB between a ADSL Internet connection WAN1 (6 Mbit/s) and a LTE connection WAN2 (50 Mbit/s). The ADSL conncection has a fixed public IP address.

In some cases we need the fixed IP address for authentication to get access to different services in our datacenter.

As we can certain inquire route from our LAN only through the WAN1 (https/SSH/SCP) ?

Also we have some problems as we connected Passive FTP services in internet, after the authentication via WAN1 the firewall open

the second cannel via WAN2 with the result that the transfer run in problems.

Is there any solutions for this problem?

Thank you for help :-)

Michael

  • Hi mikel1961,

    Welcome to the community! :)

As I understand your concern, you wanted HTTPS/SSH/SCP access from the LAN to WAN 1 port, am I right?  Also, you wanted to have Passive FTP only through the WAN 1 port, am I right?

If ever I am right,  have you tried to configure Protocol Binding? Kindly read pages 50-55 of the FVS336Gv3 reference manual here
