Netgear FVS336G V2 4.3.2.7 LAN/WAN Throughput
Hi, We have a 50MB Fibre Connection and use the FVS336G with the WAN Port set to 1000 Full Duplex however on our client PC's we only recieve a download speed of 30MBps Upload/Download but I get a 50M...

The type of connection is not really relevant, although the speed of the connection maybe.
There has to be some other device, call it a modem if you like, between the connection, whether it be a satellite link, or the more common cable, ADSL or fiber and the router, these will present an Ethernet interface to the router, and the router neither knows nor cares what it is connected to.
On the other hand, since DSL can rarely deliver the 50 mbps, then the fact that "Done speedtest and speed was as expected" may be of little relevance.
