Hi DaneA,
The firmware v3.1.1-08 seems to be more stable than v4.3.3-6 at least for my setup here. For the past week i have not had any issues and it works every morning when powered up. For now I will stick to the V3.1.1-08 firmware.

Hi DaneA,
I only have netgear on the PABX side. The other side (Phone side) I cannot control as the VPN phone is moved from time to time. I have tested it with a few different brands and the result is the same.
The firmware on the netgear has never been updated and that was the next thing i was supposed to do. Currently (from memory) I think it has 3.0.8, which is very old i guess.
I'm currently overseas with the phone and am not able to do anything on the netgear. As mentioned every morning i have skype head office and all they do is change a setting and back to original and i have a connection.
Once I'm back I will try to upgrade the firmware and get back to you.

Hi DaneA,
I'm currently overseas at the site with the Avaya phone and everyday I have to skype my workmate at the PABX end ( Netgear FVS336GV2 end) to do the changes as explained. I will be back at the head office end on this month. I will than upgrade the netgear firmwear and see if my connection stays live.
I will only be able to get back to you early next month.
