Says out of Leases but LAN Group page says less than the Pool

I provided a customer with a SRX5308. Now have DHCP questions. I created a pool with 50 addresses. I go to the LAN Groups page and the asterisk indicates DHCP addresses and indicates 20. But the DHCP log says 45 at times and now says out of leases. Ideas? Thanks and new to the community hope I posted in the right place.

    Hi speedyphx,

    Welcome to the community! :smileyhappy:

Let us isolate the problem.  Kindly answer the questions below:

    a. What is the current firmware version of the SRX5308?

    b. Have you tried to reboot the SRX5308 and does it show same DHCP logs after reboot?

Kindly post screenshots of your concern.  I look forward to your response.

  • Detail the LAN.

    LAN IP/Subnet Mask?

Are there static IP devices on the LAN?  What are their IP's?

What is the range for the DHCP server?

Is there WiFi on the LAN?

      Had 155 to 199 out of a /24 space.

Said no leases as said above.

Updated so using 143 to 199 out of a /24.

So I am thinking I have 57 address pool.

Again now LAN Group page asterisk for DHCP entries says only using around 20.

Also DHCP log collaborates around 20 in use from DORA process for DHCP.

But the dhcp server says writing in neighborhood of 50.

No statics in the environment for those addresses in the pool.

Just one used to tie a MAC to 207 for a port fwd rule.

Is there WiFi on the LAN?  Is it secured?

What type of setting is this in?  (i.e. is there a customer waiting room on the network?)

What is the Lease Time on the DHCP server?
