SRX5308 DDNS with Dyn
I set up my SRX5308 to use DDNS with DynDns.
Worked fine when I set it up the first time, but seems not to update host record after a rebooting and change of the WAN IP.
Can someone confirm that this is working correctly.
THANKS!

Hi OldGuyStillTry
Welcome to the community!
Please let me know your SRX5308 version , you can update the last version v4.3.4-2 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/SRX5308#download
In the latest version ,there isn't the issue.
If you want to use the current version , after you reboot or change WAN IP, you can go to Dynamic DNS page to click "Apply" button or configure the DynDns again. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Suli.
Current version is 4.3.1-22, so ok I will upgrade to the new version and hope that works correctly.
What is happening is my DSL connection (DSL modem in bridge mode) is dropping briefly but the firewall is reconnecting ok, however the IP is now changed and not being picked up by the firewall and DynDns is not being updated. Will the new version correctly work in this specific case?
Also, I did try to logon the router and just "Apply" again and also turn DDNS OFF then ON again, but neither worked for me. The only thing that worked was a reboot of the firewall - not good.
Thanks again for the response.

Suli,
Thanks so much for the help.
I was finally able to schedule the firmware upgrade to v4.3.4-2. I can confirm that now when the DSL drops out and then reconnects, the new IP is detected and the automatic update to DynDns is working.
Appreciate you help very much
