Use BR200 to extend my DHCP IP range

Needed to expand DHCP IP address range beyond the default settings and noticed that this is not allowed on the consumer type of wireless routers. Regardless of the LAN IP and mask, I cannot change the 3rd octet of the start and end DHCP IP address range.

Looking to purchase the BR200 VPN Router which is a business model, hoping there are no DHCP limits.

Plan is to use a LAN network address of 192.168.0.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.254.0

I'm hoping this is allowed on the BR200 and the DHCP range of valid IPs can then be set to start at 192.168.0.2 and end with 192.168.1.253.

Please confirm that this is allowed and will work on the BR200 VPN Router.

Thanks very much,

Carl

    msemtr,

You will be able to enter 192.168.0.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.254.0 on the web-GUI of the BR200.  However, be reminded that the BR200 only supports 254 DHCP leases per subnet though.
