Amount and position of AP antennas
Hi I need an AP to connect 2 computers and 2 NAS in my office room (all connected by LAN cable) to the wireless internet router in the living room with 2 brick walks between. Therefore I'm wondering ...
Hi Kurt, unfortunattely that's not possible. But the signal strenght should not be the problem, I just wonder if one of the APs has an advantage for my setup.

If the aim is to extend the router WiFi including a local LAN segment, deploy a Wireless Extender with local LAN support instead of a any kind or access point product. For your use case, I would suggest you are using tri-band unit where one dedicated 5 GHz radio is used for the connection to the primary router for a good performance overall, and you gain reasonable Wi-Fi with your office. Even if the primary router isn't a WiFi 6 (802.11ac) yet, I would look into a WiFi 6 extender to be future proof.
