AP WAX630E 6ghz power output.

WAX630E

Will the RF output power on the 6ghz band increase if I was to use a PoE++ injector.

I have only a dc supply plugged in.

I find the 6ghz coverage not whst I was expecting.

Thanks

schumaku is exactly correct. 6ghz doesn't have the same broadcast power as 5ghz does. So it doesn't broadcast as far or through as much. Its not a huge difference but its enough to cause issues with some. But the good thing is, it doesn't have much for interference because of it. And not as many devices use it so  its tends to have not as many devices connected to it.

How much area are you trying to cover?

The RF power output levels are limited by regulatory.

6 GHz does have a slightly shorter reach due to the higher radio frequencies involved when comparing to 5 GHz. The loss through walls and so on is higher, too.
