Business Central EOL

Have a client with 3 WAC720 in Ensemble in one site and 5 WAC720 in another site. The site with 5 is using the cloud Netgear Business Central which I was told is going ago July 2021. The Ensemble Aps are on 3.9.1.13 firmare the others are 3.8.something.

Is it possbile to load the standalone 3.9.1.13 to those 5 and then convert them to Ensemble? Can a remote AP join Ensemble over a WAN link or do I set up another Ensemble for those 5. I am thinking the latter as the Ensemble IP would have to be on the same subnet the APs are on.

Not aware WAC720/730 does require standalone or Ensemble or Business Central specific firmware. Current firmware for the WAC720/730 is certainly workable on standalone or on an Ensemble, including the current (as of writing) WAC720 / WAC730 Firmware Version 3.9.1.13.

When I have it right the Ensemble is (like eg. CAPWAP) limited to a single subnet resp. broadcast domain.
