Can you extend the wifi signal of a WAX610 with an AX1600 Wifi Extender
Hello, I am trying to set up an AX1600 as a wifi extender to my closest Wax610 access point. The nighthawk app finds the Wax610 powered network ok (both 2.4 and 5) but when I enter the passwords (sam...

Apologies I posted it here in case the issue was with the Wax610 configuration. But yes it has worked fine setting it up with the browser rather than the app - case solved!

Wrong SSID selected? Wrong security? Wrong PSK (wireless key)? Already tried the Web based config for the Extender instead of hope and pray in an App? Configured the extender in Mesh mode allowing to duplicate the same SSID and security settings, or have tried to configure a classic xyz-EXT SSID on the extender?
The point is we're on the Business Wireless community section here, and last but not least I'm not Netgear and do t have any current experience with these consumer extenders. Sorry.

Actually case not solved - when devices roam to what the netgear browser interface says is connected to by Wax610 network, those devices that are connected to the AX1600 then have zero internet access. So despite the AX1600 box stating 'Works with your existing wifi', it does not (even if the existing wifi is Netgear).
