Insight Managed WiFi 6 AX1800 Dual Band Access Point (WAX610) Password Problem
I am trying to find out how I can recover my password from my AP.
I have it written down but it keeps telling me that it is incorrect.
I have tried a reboot but the standard access user name/password combination doesn't work either. The AP is otherwise working fine but I only tried to log in because there is an update.
Any help out there as Netgear just closed my enquiry.

To my knowledge, there is no admin password recovery function as these are small business or busines devices.

The default username is admin FWIW.

The default admin password is active on a scratch install, or following a factory defult process.
Should you have had activated Netgear Insight at some point probably, and had set a loction-wide admin password which was put as part of the config process?

Hi,
As mentioned above by our GURU schumaku , as of now there is no admin password recovery mechanism available for the AP operating in standalone mode. Only way is to factory reset the AP (all configuration will be lost) and login using default admin password and reconfigure.
If Insight were managed by Insight, Please check Location -> Settings -> General ->Device Admin Password.
