IP Subnet makes printing over wlan from mobilphone impossible
The Netgear WAC124 used as Accesspoint ceates the problem that instead of the internetprovider IP 192.168.1.x the accesspoint creates another network with 192.168.0.x and is not possible to change it...

when the wac124 is setup in access point mode, it should be getting its ip address from your primary router.
what router is it connected to ?
What firmware is on the access point?
You didn't accidentally install it in router mode and not access point mode?

thank you for your answer, I set it up at as acess point mode, however it still loks like router mode but it works - i do not know how to check if access point mode or router but in first setting up I told the assistent access point mode with three wlan names and set it up. i also loaded newest firmware last year on it = Firmwarerevision V1.0.4.6
in the menu under configuration where you have to give the netgear an IP adress I also tried to give him the 192.168.1.254 (as provider router has ip lease from 2 to 250) but netgear prompts a message that it is not possible to use the existing lans ip 192.168.1.x and so I made 192.168.0.1 , below a screeshot of that.
the router from provider is an Icotera fiber cable router an works well , with a normal acess point before it was easy to be in one lan but I bought the netgear because this device can as access point offer 3 wlan; one for guest, and two for me )i use groundfloor2g as name1 and groundfloor5g as name two and so have wlan 2 or 5ghz shown with the ssid and guest wlan as third - so perfect solution but the only thing is this second ip lan range that the device creates) ... so still do not know why the dive cannot be an access point with the 3 wland but receive IP adress from the proverd router and also all other devices that are connected with this - i guess thi is becaus of the login because you only can login to this device when you additional hav internet because netgear does not offer a direct login without internet - the ip of this device always goest to http://www.routerlogin.net/ wher you need an account registered by netgear before - so this is much complaticated also when I would have to access it without internet you are lost - i had today when turning off the dhcp the game to play that via wlan i am connected to internet provider router to have internet and via cable to come into the device again and turn it on because without internet you cannot access the device as normal devices do but okay it is not nice but when it would work it is okay for me - however as you see in the screenshot below i cannot even set the device manually with the exisitng network ip 192.168.1.x - i have to use another like 192.168.0.x ... so not idea how to solve that ...i only can live with this bug or buy an accesspoint from another company that offers 3 wlan like this and uses one network but i only found expensive devices last year and some of them also ned a switch from the manufacturer additional to handle then virtual guest wlan ... so good device for this price but this on thing makes it strange (additonal to the login only with netgear account and internet connection possibility) ...

no i think I remebered las year I did the setup 3 times and yes maybe the reason is because it is set up in router mode because as accesspoint only ther was some problem with no possibility for 3 wlan , one for guests and two private with separate on 2,4g and second 5ghz and thats why I set it up that way and also the MuMimo functions ares lost when accesspoint only - maybe I shall set it up new but will then the deive work to offer 3 wlan like now or not, what are additional disadvantages ?

Holy cow your posts are hard to read. run on sentences and not much for punctuation.
Basically if you're using it in router mode and the router in router mode, you're running a double nat and thats causing your issue.
If you've already got a router then the access point needs to be in access point mode and not router mode if you want all the devices on the same subnet.
- Harry_RoApr 25, 2022AspirantThank you, hmm but in access point the 3 wlan, with one for guest do not work and also mumimo does not work, so thats also not good and Vetter to leave it in Router mode and connect all devices to it to thank have the Provider Router only for internet, with its separate IP net.... or ?
