Netgear WAX625 Slow 300Mbps Max WiFi

Hi. I am having a problem with my Netgear WAX625 Wireless Access Point (WAP) that I have seen reported by users of other Netgear WAPS. I have a 500Mbps FTP connection. However my Netgear WAX625 5Ghz WiFi speed is limited to 300Mbps. My router (to which the WAP is connected) gives a stable 500Mbps over WiFi to the same devices. If I connect via ethernet to the WAX625 I get the full 500Mbps. The problem is definitely a WAX625 configuration issue, hardware limitation or deficit. Any advice on possible configuration options appreciated, or simply confirmation of Netgear WAX625 WiFi speed limits being 300Mbps would be reassuring. Thanks

Double check your wireless client is not associating to the 2.4 GHz band SSID.

Ensure you have configured the Channel Width to at least 80 MHz, better 160 MHz. For simplicity, you can also choose Auto where available.

That solved it, I have adjusted the width and am now getting 500Mbps. Thank you very much.
