WAC124 - Login Fail -

Hi there,

I got a problem with the Login of my WAC124.

When I try to login, I get redirected to the NetGear Page where I enter my data. Then I get redirected back to the WAC, which fails.

This is the Error Msg of the Firefox Browser:

This is the Network Info Tab of the Firefox Browser:

This is the Error Msg of the Vivaldi Browser:

routerlogin.net didn't send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

And this is the Info of the registered device at Netgear Insight:

I already searched a little bit in this forum. I have already tried to activate or deactivate the 2FA.

If it helps: I want to use the WAC124 as an Access Point behind a Telekom Speedport Router.

I would really appreciate it, if someone has a solution for this problem.
Thanks so far
Tobias

Some personal words:
I was really some kind of disappointed that after I purchased the product from a seller and then found out to be forced to register at Netgear. Which Iis absolutely unnecessary in my opinion. Now after round about 8 hours of trying to solve this problem by myself, plus got help from two friend who work in IT, I just can say, I find the system Netgear is using both impudent and sad.
And when I see the other problems descriped here on the forum, I think it's literally remarkable, what a Netgear is trying to sell to it's customers.

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Hi and thank you for your response,

@ Mods: Maybe someone is so kind and move this topic to the other forum?

        2.
Yes, I tried Firefox and Vivaldi on my Laptop and the Android Standard Browser on my smartphone. Same issue.

You maybe misunderstood. I bought it new, but from a amazon seller and not directly from Netgear. But I often resetted it in order to fix my problem.

        4.

I tried "192.168.0.100" as well as "routerlogin.net". In both cases I was able to access the front page, got directed to Netgear, entered my data and confirmed, then it broke. When I enter the raw "routerlogin.net" URL in the browser again, I am on the front page again.

I got access to the WAC124 a few moments ago.
Unplugged Ethernet and entered via local login. Changed to Access Point Mode. Accessed via the IP the WAC124 got allocated by my Speedport Router.
Same issue as before: Enter front Page -> Login -> Redirected to Netgear -> Submit my data -> Redirect back to AP -> broke (with same error messages in the browser).

Well, I could reset it now, configure all via local login, set to access point, then plug ethernet in and just let it run on ... and as long as I don't need to change anything all will be fine. But that's not the solution I would like very much.
