WAC510 Device Connection
Brief overview of home network set-up. From ISP to utility provided fiber to copper NOVA2004. Cat5 from NOVA2004 (10G port) to (LAN port) WAC510 on same WAC510 (WAN port) Cat5 to GS108PP from GS108PP to second WAC510 (WAN port)
Firmware up to date as of 12/8/2023
Problem I'm experiencing = Devices connect and there are no issues but if there is a power loss any device that is not reconnected within 10 minutes or so will not automatically reconnect. Also any new devices we try to connect require a power cycle on the entire system for them to connect. Checked settings to the best of my abilities but haven't been able to solve without repeated power cycling.
A real pain when there is a power outage. Every device in the home needs to be powered up immediately and simultaneously. Any advice is appreciated!

The WAN and LAN ports on the WAC510 have relevance only if deploying one WAC510 in router mode.
Assuming this NOVA2004 (unknown to me) can serve both as Internet connection and as a NAT router. For an access point deployment with an existing router, start with connecting the GS108PP with one port to the NOVA2004, and link the two WAC510 in AP mode with the WAC510 port designated WAN (also serving for the PoE).
Alternate approach is to configure one WAC510 in router mode, connect the WAN port e.g. to the simple available 1 GbE port, and link the router-WAC510 LAN port (operating in router mode of course) to the GS108PP, where you connect the second WAC510 in AP mode on the WAN port. Disadvantage is that you can't use PoE of powering the first WAC510 (in router mode), only for the second WAC510 in AP mode. There is no need for a power-reboot of the WAC510 router when adding new devices to the LAN (on the GS108PP) or the WLAN.
If operating both WAC510 in AP mode, and considering the NOVA2004 looks like a simple Internet-"modem"-like device, this ISP device is likely not intended to operate two or more devices in a transparent bridge mode (like all typical cable-modems).

Thank you for helping steer me in that direction.
