WAC720 Mesh network, 8 points, adding new AP WAX615. No insights, just too costly. Will WAX615 work

I want to add 2 WAX615 for added office space to my existing WAC720 mesh network. I will NOT buy insights as the cost is out of budget.

Can I add these new WAX615 to my network as Mesh APs?

The WAC720 are certainly not Mesh-capable, these APs require a wired backhaul.

Continuing the evaluation, if the plan is to add some WAX615 for example as wireless Mesh extenders (this is what it would be), you need at least one WAX6xx to serve as the Wired root AP, serving for an Insight Instant Mesh. And all these WAX6xx need to be Insight managed if I'm right. If the intention is to have the two additional WAX connected wireless to form a Mesh.

Wired WAX with manual local config can be added to one or multiple VLAN, roaming is possible as long as you are deploying just WPA2-PSK. Nothing that kills a usual budget, starting from the second year,  NETGEAR Insight Premium
(where NETGEAR Insight Premium is sold) is charged for ~$9.99 per device/per year.
