Luckily, Amazon does not promote the WAX206 as a NAT router 8-)

"NETGEAR Wireless Desktop Access Point (WAX206) - WiFi 6 Dual-Band AX3200 Speed, 4x1G Ethernet Ports, 1x2.5G WAN, Up to 128 Devices, WPA3 Security, Up to 3 Separate WiFi Networks, MU-MIMO, 802.11ax"

After a 35 second browsing the WiFi 6 AX1800/AX3200 Dual Band Wireless Access Points, WAX202 and WAX206 User Manual on p.97 ff. I  would suggest to start from ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup

    .

You might want to explain the uneducated reader what does fail, under what condition, what Web browser, what WAX206 firmware .... just some more essentials of what you report here. "It always fails" does not last long.

Some basic ***-in and ***-out example, probably with a screenshot might explain your issue. Is this potentially related to the IP address or the format used for the MAC address?

And no, I'm not Netgear, and I don't own one of these WAX202/206 or the very similar variants.
