WAX214 AP ping Spikes on Internal Network, Why?

Fiddled with with WiFi Channel Configure. Specified one channel for 5 GHz then went back to ALL (auto select). Initially both APs were using Channel 36. After fiddling with channels I set both back to All. Now each AP is using a different Channel and large latency spike is no more. Not sure why each AP didn't auto select a unique channel initially.
