Access point has two networks which have been running fine.  This am the networks show up but iPads cannot connect to either one.  Proper lights are showing on the top.  Rebooted by disconnecting both network and power cable.  Rebooted iPad. Cleared something in chrome.  Have tried both Chrome and safari.  Logged in to the configuration only network.  Did not see anything amiss, but I am no expert.

now config only network is nowhere to be found.

Any thoughts please.

also tried to file this with netgear but captcha does not work so no go there either.

Did you read the page at the end of the link?

I agree that the page is way too complicated, but it boils down to turning off the random MAC feature on the iCrap.

    Hi,

Config-only SSID will stop broadcasting, if that SSID is idle for 15mins. Hence you might not seeing the config-only ssid.

Config-only said reappears once after AP reboot, if you want to check the AP IP address and wireless configurations details.

Does both network (SSID) is enabled with 2.4G and 5 GHz ?, what security modes are configured ?. what Channel configuration?

Did you try connecting iPad moving little near to AP, please check channel configurations and try to set channel according to your congested environment .

Is issue only with iPad?, what's the version?.

What exactly are the the plans and intentions?

Technically, you can map any SSID, any band, to any VLAN and IP subnet - permitting these VLANs and subnet exist can reach the Internet or other internal VLANs and subnets, and a workable DHCP service is available for each of these VLANs of course.

Keep in mind these WAX2xx are intended for standalone deployments. For supporting seamless roaming, security different from WPA2-PSK for example WPA3-SAE or RADIUS based authentication or other portals, the Insight managed WPA6xx or WBE7xx re much better suited.

Thank you for your reply.  I have a 5.0 network now installed on the AP.  Now I want to add a second network with 2.4 as they have better range.  How do I add a second network?

You can add upto 4 SSID's from wireless settings page, 2.4G, 5GHz, 2.4GHz and 5 GHz dual band.

Open AP page using DHCP IP address, Enable the SSID radio button, configure SSID name, passphrase and apply changes.
