WAX214

Cannot connect via the static IP (192.168.0.55) it has been assigned. It is connected to the same EdgeSwitch as my PC, I can Ping it, I can SSH into it. But I cannot get it to allow browser http access. I have tried;

http://192.168.0.55

https://192.168.0.55

http://192.168.0.55:80

https://192.168.0.55:443

and just plain 192.168.0.55  All to no avail. I have a WAC505 on the network, connected to the same EdgeSwitch that I can http into just fine so I don't think its a firewall getting in the way.

Is there some random buried option that disables http access by default?

I did a port scan with Zenmap and it shows;

PORT    STATE  SERVICE VERSION

22/tcp     open    ssh Dropbear sshd 2015.67 (protocol 2.0)

53/tcp     open    domain Cloudflare public DNS

80/tcp     filtered  http

443/tcp   filtered  https

554/tcp   filtered  rtsp

1935/tcp filtered  rtmp

5000/tcp open    upnp MiniUPnP 1.9 (UPnP 1.1)

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Dre9872

    And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂

    Have you tried resetting it to default settings and reconfigure it? Some works after reset to default settings. Do you also get same result when using a different computer? You may want to check also if you have the updated firmware.

    Have a lovely day,
