WAX610 went offline (reads "disconnected" in Insight) after firmware update 10.3.0.7.

I performed a firmware update to 10.3.0.7 through Insight app on my cell phone. Per Insight, 10.0.3.7 is the current firmware version but the device is disconnected (or sometimes offline in circumstances). The network light on the AP (second from the left) is red. The power, 2.4 and 5 lights are all green. I am able to ping the IP of the AP and receive appropriate responses. It shows on my router as an attached device. My cell connects directly to my router upstairs, but not to the AP as evidence by the standard icon rather than the icon with the 6. I have also unplugged and restarted the device and reset it once as well. Any ideas?

  • Similar issue with the latest firmware update for the WAX630E APs. Gets stuck in 'configuration in progress' and hosts cannot connect as expected any longer. 

  • Well, oddly enough, I went out to dinner and received an Insight message that the AP was back online, but still needed a firmware update. So, I ran it again and this time when it finished the message was "failed to return" or "failed to reconnect" or something like that. I saw other reports like that as well. So, went to bed and upon arising it had reconnected with the current firmware in place. It doesn't seem like intended behavior, but as they say, all's well that ends well.
