WAX615 initial start up Issue
I am installing an access point (WAX615) and trying this for the first time. I am setting this up in Stand Alone Mode. After powering up, getting on the access point's SSID, and logging in, the access point then goes into "Applying Settings" modes, which seems to be checking for firmware updates and stuff like that.
This has been going on for about 1 hour now w/ no end in sight.
The LED lights are as follows:
Power / Cloud: solid Green
LAN: Blinking Amber quickly
2.4Ghz:solid green
5 Ghz: blinking Blue quickly
Is this normal?
Should I try factory reset?

Below is the Led light status meaning.
Power / Cloud: solid Green --> WAX615 booted up successfully.
LAN: Blinking Amber quickly --> Traffic activity at a speed lower than 2.5 Gbps is
detected on the LAN port.2.4Ghz: solid green --> No clients are connected to 2.4Ghz SSID
5Ghz: blinking Blue quickly --> Clients are connected to 5Ghz SSID.
We need couple thing to understand your issue.
1. Try refreshing the page and make sure you are connected to AP's NETGEARxxxxxx-SETUP SSID
2. We are assuming WAX615 is in Day zero page -- Applying settings, it means you have changed default SSID to your personal SSID.
Connect your laptop or phone to newly configured SSID and browse for http://aplogin.net. it will redirect to Ap login page.
Your browser might display a security warning because of the self-signed certificate.
on the access point, which is expected behavior.3. If above things didn't work, please share your network topology, Will come back with more details.
