WAX620 2.4ghz network failing
The 2.4ghz network on my WAX620 keeps failing. Firmware is 9.6.3.2.
During failure clients cannot see the associated SSID and cannot reconnect. Outages last 30+ minutes. Power cycling the WAX620 resolves the issue temporarily. 5ghz network is unaffected. 2.4 and 5ghz networks are on separate SSIDs.
I have tried adjusting channels from AUTO to CH3 and reducing the power settings of the 2.4ghz radio.
The 2.4ghz network is used only by devices that aren't 5ghz-capable:
- Roku streaming device
- Brother laser printer
- Sonos streaming speakers
- Blink wireless camera system
I have noticed warnings in the notification log that seem to correlate to outages: "Channel utilization went high 98 % on channel 3". I don't know if this indicates radio interference or misbehaving clients.
I have opened a support ticket but creating this post in case the community has any ideas on how to troubleshoot or resolve!

When I'm reading Sonos speakers .... STP comes into my mind. Is STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) enabled on our access points and the switches making up the wired backhaul for the WAX6xx?
For your reference: Configure STP settings to work with Sonos
How comes the firmware is stuck on a one year old build, updated several times since?
