WAX630E not negotiating 802.3at POE+ via LLDP
Hello, I have a site that is transitioning to WiFi6 and the APs will need to be put on the existing Cisco WS-C2960X-48FPD-L switches as we are transitioning the access switches with a different p...

Hi GDrosario,
Did you plug it in port 1 or the 802.3bt / 802.3at of the AP? Also, have you checked if there's enough power budget to supply the said AP? I have encountered problems before where WAX APs won't turn on CISCO POE+ switches, just have to enable and run "#lldp run" via CLI.
Take note that if the WAX630E is powered via POE+, the max throughput will be reduced to 50% on 5GHz.
Kind regards,,

The AP is being powered by the switch via PoE through port 1. This model of switch I’m using has 740w for PoE budget and during testing, only the two APs are connected. LLDP is enabled on both sides and the switch sees both devices as neighbors.
