WNAP320 upgrade sequence

I would like to upgrade a standalone WNAP320 2.1.1 to the current firmware. The upgrade sequence described in http://kb.netgear.com/31401/WNAP320-Firmware-Version-3-5-20-0?cid=wmt_netgear_organic is contradictory, gives two examples:

1. AP running 2.x, first upgrade to 2.1.6. Then upgrade to 3.5.20.0

2, Example firmware upgrade sequence for WNAP320 from 2.x:
V2.1.11 -> V2.1.12 -> V3.5.20.0 - Correct sequence

It also implies that 2,1,5 is the earliest version that can be upgraded for WNAP320 ("Upgrade initiated from other 2.x firmware version is not supported.").

What is the correct sequence?

  • Hi JanHruska,

    For your WNAP320 which is having the firmware version 2.1.1 please find the below correct squence.

    2.1.1 -> V2.1.6 -> V3.5.20.0

    Thanks
