WNAP320 firmware downgrade

We have a WC7520 and a new WC7600 WLAN controller.

WNAP320 AP's worked well in combination with the WC7520 controller. While configuring the WNAP320 AP's with the new WC7600 controller, the AP's started upgrading their firmware to v5.1.0.18_3447.

The AP's are working fine with the new WC7600 controller but we can't use them anymore with the WC7520 controller.

Is it posible to downgrade the firmware of the AP to a version that is working with the old WC7520 controller or is there an other sollution?

    Hi Stijn-ver,

When you set back the WNAP320 as a standalone access point, what was the current firmware version of it?  Was it on v3.5.5.0?

If ever the WNAP320 is still on firmware v3.5.5.0, kindly try to downgrade the firmware from v3.5.5.0 to v2.1.5.  After a successful downgrade of the firmware, be sure to reset the WNAP320 back to factory default settings then reconfigure it from scratch.  Then, check if the WNAP320 will work again with the WC7520.

    Hi Stijn-ver,

    Welcome to the community! :)

I have not tried this yet, but I think its possible.  Kindly try to set the WNAP320 into a standalone access point then proceed to use it with the WC7520 once again.  Let us know the results.

If ever you are hesitant about this procedure, I advise you to open an online case with NETGEAR Support for further assistance.
