.HTACCESS wird nicht erkannt

Hallo, ich versuche einen Share als Index bereitzustellen.

Hierzu nutze ich die .HTACCESS des Autoindex Strapdown 

Ob lokal oder remote gehostet, der Apache liest die HTACCESS nicht und verbleibt im regulären Theme.

Die Freigabe liegt unter /data/Share/

Ich habe den Rewrite Modus aktiviert und 000-default mit a2ensite als Standardkonfig gesetzt. Später sollen Unterverzeichnisse mit Authentifikation versehen werden.
