This week I received my ReadyNAS Pro 2, which means it does not boot up and I can reset this no more.
RMA is already running and I have to send in the housing.

Now my question: I can still access the data somehow. The system was configured to RAID 1.
I have already tried some tools like EXT2FSD or Linux Reader, unfortunately without success. On Ubuntu, I access it either.

==FIRST STEPS AND SETUP:===
Install Debian Virtual Machine (With ORACLE VIRTUAL BOX), Buy USB Disk Enclosures (for the READYNAS Disks) and plug them into PC. On virtual box in the settings of the Debian Virtual machine, make sure USB and USB 2.0 is checked and enabled. Enable the Attached USBs to be seen by Virtual Box, DO NOT USE SATA with Virtual box i dont want you to damage the contents of your disks

--RECAP:--
On Debian Install MDADM and LVM2. Reboot the machine with those and mount /dev/c/c to a folder.

--STEPS:--
Make sure the DISKs are visible to the DEBIAN with cat /proc/partitions and hdparm -I /dev/sdX where X is the disk letter. use "dmesg".
# cat /proc/partitions
# dmesg | egrep -i "disk|sd.|sata|scsi"
# mount

# apt-get install mdadm
# apt-get install lvm2
if this doesnt work you will need to edit the file /etc/apt/source.list so that Linux points to the right repository servers to download those mdadm and lvm programs
REBOOT HERE
# reboot -f

Make sure you see dev-mapper and md### and dm-0, md is the raid being loaded and dm-0 is the logical volume (lvm).
# cat /proc/partitions

# mkdir /mnt/source
# mount -o ro /dev/c/c /mnt/source
-o ro to mount readonly so it doesnt get damaged

===COPY DATA===
Once you have access to the data you need to copy it somewhere, install CIFS-UTILS and mount a samba share from your Windows PC.

---ACROSS NETWORK---
ON WINDOWS make user testuser and password123 and make a folder that has enough space on a disk
# mkdir /mnt/dest
# mount -t cifs //windowsPC/share1 /mnt/dest -o user=testuser,pass=password123

---Mount another DISK VIA USB---
Get another enclousure and mount the destination disk
# cat /proc/partitions
find out which disk is the destination and mount it
# mount /dev/sdX1 /mnt/dest

USE cp or rsync to copy
# cp -Rv /mnt/source/* /mnt/dest
# rsync -av /mnt/source/* /mnt/dest

===NOTE:===
If you want to use SATA cables then you cant use Debian Virtual Machine and you will need to install Debian.

There are lots of ways to do that, but I have just done the above way and it works.

Keep in mind even though its RAID1 you still need RAID software (MDADM) to see the data.
