Insight basic portal issue
I have a Guest SSID that works as an open network. When I turn on captive portal, that works too. When I turn on and add a Redirect URL, the redirect does not work at all. Any issue with this field? ...

Dane,
Thanks for answering the call.
1. No. It is the VERY first AP that I've setup on Insight and it didn't work from the onset.
2. Yes, but didn't make it work as designed.
3. I believe the firmware is up to date (see pic)
Thanks,
Jason

Update to this issue - after testing on multiple devices, the issue seem to be tied to Android devices only. On a Windows laptop or iPhone, after clicking Accept, the browser is redirected to the landing page. On the Android devices (specifically speaking, OnePlus OxygenOS), the WiFi connection manager opens up a proxy or embedded browser, which opens up the Netgear Accept page. The browser doesn't recognize the redirect to my setup webpage. Unsure how this is going to be resolved. Will test on more devices.

The preferred way to overcome whatever embedded browser limitations* for small screen devices like phones is certainly the Netgear Insight App.
*talking of Android devices, all the current Pixel devices (like Pixel 4, 5, 4a 5g, and 5a) render the Insight Web portal amazingly well - being on "release" Chrome (92.0.4515.159 16 Aug 2021) as well as the current Chrome Beta builds (93.0.4577.51 18 Aug 2021) as of writing. They (almost) always did so, since the Insight Beta testing. This applies to the standard Insight as well as the Insight Pro web portal, all sharing the same - the feature differences are account controlled 8-)
