Management without Insight
I had UniFi in my old house and am building a new place now. I was looking at Netgear for the 2.5gb network gear for my house. I am looking at 5 APs, 4 Cameras, a NAS, 24 port POE 2.5gb switch and PFSense firewall.
I do not like the expensive annual costs for insight compared the the UniFi self managed solution. How can I update the firmware, config the vlans, cycle power and all that without insights?
The devices I am looking at come with 1 year insights so maybe my need is only to ensure the firmware is updated and cycle power every couple weeks.

Insight Premium does start from $0.83 per month and device so it's hard to consider expensive. If you don't need Smart WiFi roaming, PoE scheduling, the most easy management ever, each device can be Web managed locally. Something your "other" low-cost-cloud solution does not offer.
