NETGEAR Insight portal stuck at classic theme

Hi everyone,

 

I am currently running the latest Web Portal Version 10.0.3.2 (Cloud Version 10.0.4.3). According to the recent NETGEAR Insight 10.0 release details, this updated build architecture should load the newly redesigned, web-optimized dashboard layout

 

However, my account seems to be stuck on the legacy "Classic" purple theme layout. I do not see the modern UI anywhere.

 

I am noticing that my URL structure explicitly displays:

https://insight.netgear.com/classic/#/dashboard/account

 

Troubleshooting steps I have already tried:

 

  • Cleared browser cookies and cache.
  • Tested via private/Incognito windows.
  • Tested across multiple web browsers.
  • Logged in using completely different computer systems.

 

There are no available profile toggles or user interface banners allowing me to manually switch over to the updated modern architecture. Is there an active bug preventing specific legacy accounts from migrating to the new visual layout framework or has it not been rolled out globally yet?

    The migration of existing accounts is still ongoing, and not finished yet. Before this isn't applied to your account, the "classic" version does remain in place.

     

    Similar, manually adjusting URLs won't lead to the expected new UI.

     

    And yes, even my long existing Insight account - paid personally for - from the early prototype and beta testing times isn't migrated yet, as per today.

    Mid April, we were told:

    We are scheduling a maintenance window to release NETGEAR Insight version 10.0, which includes an upgraded web portal with a modern interface, a renamed Read-Only Manager role (formerly Insight Owner), and additional enhancements and bug fixes.

    Maintenance Window
    • Start: Friday, April 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM PDT
    • End: Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 PM PDT

     

    What to Expect During and After Maintenance
    • Throughout the maintenance window — Devices may temporarily appear offline in the mobile app and Cloud Portal; this does not affect your actual network connectivity. Login access to both the mobile app and Cloud Portal remains available.
    • Immediately after upgrade — Updated login screen goes live for all customers.
    • Over the next 2–6 weeks — The full v10.0 experience, including the redesigned portal and new features, rolls out gradually to existing customers.
    • Once your account is migrated — You'll receive a notification confirming your account has been moved to v10.0.

    Action Required

    Please save all settings before Friday, April 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM PDT to prevent any unintended data loss.

    We appreciate your patience as this is more than an update — it's a whole new Insight. Exciting things are headed your way, and we can't wait for you to see them !

    Some two to six weeks had passed since - and many (or most?) account have still not been migrated to the "new experience".

     

    These days, three months, or some hundred days later, yet another update hit the Insight customer base:

    • Heatmap on Floor Plans — generate signal-strength heatmaps on floor plan layouts to identify coverage gaps.
    • Geo-fencing for Mobile Hotspot Devices — define geographic boundaries and receive alerts when Mobile Hotspot devices move outside the allowed zone.
    • OS-based Client Blocking — configure client blocking by operating system at the SSID level.
