M4300-28G slow WebGUI and unable to clear port statistics
M4300-28G slow WebGUI and unable to clear port statistics. Firmware 12.0.17.16.
I have two of these switches trunked over fibre. One of them clears port stats fine, the other just doesn't do anything when I hit the "Clear" button. If I reload the page nothing has been cleared. Have tried using Edge and Opera - same behaviour.

Fiddling around I see that it clears correctly when you go to the "Detailed Port Statistics" tab. However, even though the "Port Statistics" tab has the button Clear, it does not work there. Somewhat confusing.

Start with a Reset to Factory Default. Don't forget the hardware reset button (a 10 second press should make it happen) is just yet another software function. So probably no way around M4300 - Resetting to factory default using the boot menu - and restore the configuration in case it's complex.

Thanks schumaku.
What's the correct way to save the switch's configuration to file? There seem to be several export options and I'm not sure which is best.

Depends where you coming from. The generic school training answer would be to write the config to a tftp server - that's the industry standard supported by most managed switch and router brands.
If starting from the green field you might want to start with the NETGEAR Engage Controller available for Windows or MacOS.
You need to figure out yourself what is best for your use case. For my part, as an old network crow I tend towards K.I.S.S.
Needless to say any approach requires you to establish a reliable backup scheme for your network device configs, no matter which path you go.
